Listen up, when you repeatedly send negative impulses to your brain you WILL subconsciously lose more and more motivation which will undoubtedly result in quitting.
Every time you skip a meal, skip a workout or get lazy on your workouts you send negative impulses to your brain, you feel like you didn’t have a great workout as planned when leaving the gym. This destroys your mentality. As you fuck up you will be drawn to fuck up harder and harder as laziness knows no limits. Lacking will cause you to lose motivation 100% guaranteed. When you start realizing you fucked up many times and feel you are not really going anywhere this is when your bodybuilding heart stops pumping and you say “fuck it imma take a break for a while”. Little did you know it was a permanent break.
What can I do to avoid this?
NEVER allow yourself to fuck up. Going on a endless WIN-streak will make it heartbreaking for you to fuck up in the smallest way. I couldn’t imagine missing one workout because I haven’t missed a single one the past 3 years. One time I got hit by a car on my way to the gym and I fell flat on my face causing light injury, did I go to the hospital? Yes, a hospital called “The gym” and my therapy was pumping heavy iron objects against the force of gravity.
